As a new FBI agent assigned to Connecticut, I was handed a cold case: two armored cars robbed of $1.8 million. One of the suspects was later found murdered in a church parking lot.
The police had a prime suspect, but not enough evidence to make the case. Meanwhile, the statute of limitations on the armored car robberies was about to expire - meaning the culprits could soon walk free.
